THE OLDE ENGLISH BULLDOGGE

The Olde English Bulldogge (Olde) is quite similar to the English Bulldog. However, the "Olde" is a new breed that is developed to be what the English Bulldog was for several hundred years ago - a pure working dog. The Olde English Bulldogge is what the fine English Bulldog was before it was turned into a superios conformation breed.

The Olde English Bulldogge is a true bull dog.
The breed is as it best in boar hunting where the realibility of the dog counts.

The Olde is a rare breed originated in United States. Even if it has found and secured it's place in the working dog world it still is a rarity that'll be found only at the most devoted working bulldog enthusiasic's hands and homes.

Explanation of the graph:

The working dog bulldogs form a solid base to many today's conformation breeds. At the early 1800's from the working dog bulldogs was started a new conformation dog breed - the english bulldog (see the start of the yellow arrow). Later was formed many new breeds as the Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
At 1970's was started a new working dog breed, the Olde English Bulldogge (the Olde). The goal was to create a new breed that would be as close as possible to the dogs that the English Bulldogge was when it was still a working dog (see the start of the yellow arrow).
The result is a 100 % working dog.

Tankki (front) and Julle.

A good example of succesfull linebreeding. This young magnificient dog's sire is Bruce and dam Dolly.
His grandparents are Tankki and Sukka.
This kind of planned linebreeding takes years and a lot of work but is worth it.
